The American Red Cross of Greater Grand Rapids needs immediate volunteers!

The American Red Cross of Greater Grand Rapids has many clients daily who look for assistance in transportation to and from medical, dental and mental health appointments. 

This year more than ever, volunteer drivers are needed to continue this critical service.  Its easy to sign up, you must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Michigan driver’s license with no more than 2 points and no DUI convictions.
 

Also for those who may want a little more involvement, a Database Assistant position is being sought after for assisting the Development Coordinator in routine tasks that must be performed daily, weekly, monthly, etc. These tasks include database data entry, database maintenance, importing records into the database, donor receipt mailings, misc mailings, removing duplicate records and other administrative functions as necessary. Some phone calls to confirm receipt of a mailing or to ask for correct mailing address etc. No soliciting. No asking for money. Training and written instructions will be provided.
