Day of Caring - making our community better and stronger

The 2011 Day of Caring (DOC) was held on September 9, 2011, corresponding with the National Day of Service and Remembrance.

Steelcase employees helped deliver wood and supplies for Home Repair Services during the annual Day of Caring.

DOC 2011 Facts

1600 volunteers from 46 businesses and organizations participated
81 different service projects were completed for 58 host agencies and schools
5000 hours of service were volunteered to improve the community - with an estimated dollar value of $106,800!*
