Downtown Grand Rapids 4th of July Fireworks Ambassador

Grand Rapids will have fireworks this 4th of July, thanks to several sponsors willing to pick up the tab.

The July 4th events will be held in Ah-Nab-Awen Park along the Grand River, with music scheduled to start at 6 p.m., fireworks scheduled for 10:30 p.m.

Ambassador volunteers will work on two different shifts and are asked to arrive at Ah-Nab-Awen park to receive instructions.

Shifts are from:

5pm - 8pm: 20 people needed

8pm - 11pm: 20 people needed

Volunteers will assist with various duties of crowd control, safety, answering questions, etc.

Ambassador volunteers are asked to wear "live united" T-shirts to the event. We will have them available at sign-in at Ah-Nab-Awen park if you don't have one.
