I LOVE GR PARKS!! Mark Your Calendars For This 2nd Annual Event May 15, 2010!

The Volunteer Center and Friends of GR Parks would like you to mark your calendars for the second annual city-wide park spruce up event known as I LOVE GR PARKS.

Start: May 15, 2010 09:00 AM - 12:00PM
Location: city-wide park spruce-up

Last year Friends of Grand Rapids Parks worked with the City, businesses, community groups and over 300 volunteers across the city to launch into Spring with a 16 park clean-up campaign.

They are finalizing the list of 20 parks for this year. Rest assured, there will be a park near you.

They are still looking for Park Partners that would like to volunteer their neighborhood park to be part of the event and commit to making an inventory of park projects, directing volunteers and promoting the event.
