Recreation Reaps Rewards (RRR) program is awarded Wood TV8 Connecting With Community Award!
On Thursday, May 13, RRR administrators, staff and supporters were acknowledged in a reception held at Ford Museum for their collaborative efforts to provide youth programming, recreation, educational support, and enrichment to children and families in need in the Grand Rapids area. Seven other finalists from various other agencies in West Michigan as well as RRR, had pieces on their programs produced by WOODTV and aired in the weeks leading up to announcement of the winner.
After all the videos were shown a winner was selected by Presidents of Huntington Bank, Grand Rapids Community College, Metro Health and Art Van. The winner, RRR, will receive a public service announcement on their program, which will be promoted online and on air on the WOODTV stations and its affiliates over the next year.

What a great program
This is a great program! My children have so much fun when they go especially over the summer time when school is out. I dont have to worry about their saftey, its so many different activities they can do, and they're always learning which is great. I would recommend this to anyone. Congrats RRR
