Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Teens ages 11-17

The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is a nationally recognized curriculum that combines Parent’s skills training, Children’s skill training and Family life skills training to help family members:

INCREASE: Self esteem, organization, parent-child attachment, stress management and coping skills, effective communication, social and life skills, and effective discipline techniques.
REDUCE: Family conflicts and stress, depression, aggression, violence and delinquency, and substance abuse (or prevent initiation of substance use).

SFP is for ALL families; but has been found to be especially helpful for: Families involved with the juvenile delinquency and child welfare systems, grandparents raising grandchildren, families of color and families where there has been separation of the parent and child.

Transportation, childcare and a meal are provided each week!
There is NO COST to attend! Register NOW! Class size is limited.

Classes begin Monday April, 19th and meet every Monday for eight weeks from 5:30-8:30 PM.

SFP sessions are for parents and their chil-dren ages 12-17. Onsite childcare is avail-able for younger children in the family. Other significant adults in the household may also attend.
