Volunteer opportunities range from predictable to obscure

We hear it time and again - nonprofits are increasingly looking for skills-based volunteers. Folks with time on their hands and specific skills they trained for are in high demand. At the same time, agencies still need those dedicated to filing, sorting, serving - the more traditionally thought of volunteer jobs.

It's worth some time digging through our Volunteer Solutions database to see what kinds of skills-based jobs are available. You may be surprised at what you find. You may just find something right up your alley.

You'll be more likely to stick with a volunteer position that fits your skills and where you can feel you are making a difference. Ever learned to SCUBA dive while on vacation?
